The standard kitchen TX9561EZ transmitter and paging system is made for busy kitchens where the chef needs to call the waiter back to collect the food, this system reduces the time customers wait.

As a standard solution the TX9561EZ is mostly sold with the SP4 pager (and our new version launching in 2026) that is a very robust pager, used throughout the United Kingdom and can message with LED's to staff where the message came from. This system is generally adequate for most restaurant, pubs and bars and usually can cover the entire site, but if it falls short rest assured we have a signal boost repeater that can sole those problems.

The backbone of the system, the transmitter, and the SP series of pagers are designed for the staff paging and are a perfect solution. The transmitter is mains powered, but can have a battery if desired for mobile use, and the SP series of pagers are rechargeable and will easily last a day, with recharging at night. The EZ has a heat resistant case but is NOT heatproof and we find that heatproof solutions are often out of date solutions these days.

Compatible Pagers

The SP6 Series Pager for Waiting Staff - New for 2026

The primary pager used in restaurants for example with the T9561EZ is in fact the SP6 staff pager. It is NOT a text messaging pager simply because the SP6 (and whole SP series) has LCD's that can indicate which transmitter sent the message. These systems are multi use and as such support a number of transmitters. For example, you can have a transmitter in the bar, one in the kitchen, and even one in the front of house if you want. Each T9561EZ can message the SAME pagers, and the staff will know where to go from the LED indicators. It's a brilliant system.

The SP6 remains a rechargeable pager with a Lithium-ion battery that can charge in just 4 hours and has a 5 slot charger (small footprint) for each 5 pagers to be charged overnight. And the new SP6 improves greatly over the older SP4. The SP6 is now available and surpasses other products in many respects. The new device is priced extremely well and will remain compatible with your T9561EZ series when the new pagers are launched.

We also have a compatible clip or leather case that can protect our pagers when being used in difficult conditions that waiter pagers often are used in.

The pager can flash, vibrate (strongly) and beep (if you want that) so that staff will never miss a single page from other staff. New technology is now being incorporated in to the latest SP series including those Lithium-ion batteries that can last for days. And recharging is short - in fact about 4 hours for a full charge.

The Vibe+ and other Alpha Text Pagers

The new Vibe+ or AP2 Alphanumeric colour messaging pager, the CT text pager and the watch pager we offer CAN operate with the TX9561EZ transmitters, but that is NOT the primary role of these types of text pagers. Using the TX9461EZ level of transmitters is in effect not getting the best value from these standard waiter paging systems, so we actually do NOT recommend it.

The SP series of pagers is an exact match and our recommendations for this type of system is always going to be the SP style of pagers.
